Leadership Development Training and Team Realignment
Challenge: To realign and maximise Leadership Team functioning in an environment where a utilities distribution company had grown significantly in the previous 18 months. It had expanded to all States and the Asia-Pacific region. Very significant growth in employee numbers, an increase in the diversity and complexity of business activities and increased accountability and complexity of General Manager roles.
Method: Leadership development training was conducted through a series of strategy and planning workshops with the Leadership Team. Identified and ranked critical issues impacting on the business and management team. Explored options and developed plans for resolving these. Provided individual team members with coaching and training.
Outcomes: Our leadership development training produced a manageable framework around processes, systems and capacity issues impacting positively on the Leadership Team. Enhanced effectiveness of the team in achieving results. Professional development plans for team members linked to the company’s succession plan.
